John Legend Hires Food Trucks to Feed Anti-Police Brutality Protesters

Counter Current News

World famous musician John Legend and his wife, model and food blogger Chrissy Teigen, decided to bring out trucks full of free food for protesters against police brutality in New York City.

New York Police Commissioner Bill Bratton said that he though demonstrations over the Eric Garner and Ferguson Grand Jury decisions would quickly dissipate. In his words, he said they would “peter out,” within a day or two.

But the protests in New York and across the nation are still going strong. Food blogger Chrissy Teigen, perhaps better known for her job as a model, is married to John Legend. The two of them decided to show their support for these public protests and dissent by purchasing a fleet of food trucks and give out free food to hungry protesters in Lincoln Square.
