WeAreChange Best of 2011

I want to thank everyone in 2011 including the over 4 million viewers we had on this one youtube page that made our work possible. We had an incredible year and after everything that we experienced the bad the ugly the good and beautiful. One thing I learned is that with love, hard work and a positive attitude we can achieve anything.

Again thank you so much to everyone who donated to make this year possible. Help us make 2012 the year of WeAreChange.

Please subscribe to get it 1st, you wont want to miss it.

WeAreChange confronts Thomas Kean For The 3rd Time

Thomas Kean: “aftershocks” from planes caused collapse of WTC Building 7

On September 13th, 2011, Thomas Kean, Chair of the 9/11 Commission and Former Governor of N.J., gave a lecture for the The Drew Forum, a series of public lectures at Drew University located in Madison, New jersey. We Are Change was tipped off to the event by http://www.youtube.com/FreedumbFighter28 and attended. After the lecture, a question and answer session was opened up to the audience. When We Are Change asked Thomas Kean to address the collapse of WTC Building 7, which was not hit by a plane, and was not mentioned once in the 9/11 Commission Report, his answer was simply shocking.

Kean claims the Bureau of Standards Final Report on the collapse WTC Building 7 found that “aftershocks”
from the planes hitting the twin towers caused the foundation of Building 7 to weaken and collapse. First, it is important to note that the National Bureau of Standards changed its name back in 1988 to the National Institute of Standards and Technology, or NIST. Second, no where in NIST’s Final Report does it say that aftershocks from the impact of the planes into the Twin Towers caused or even had a factor in the collapse of Building 7. In fact, NIST claims Building 7 was brought down by fire.

However, NIST’s Final Report has come under harsh criticism from highly reputable sources. A recent documentary released by Architects and Engineers for 911 Truth, which you can watch for free right now (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lw-jzCfa4eQ), details meticulously the flaws and illogical conclusions brought forward by NIST.

How is it that the Chair of the most important criminal investigation of our lives doesn’t even know the official government story behind the collapse of Building 7? Furthermore, why does he make up a theory that is more illogical and more preposterous than the official version released by NIST, essentially baking a layer cake of lies? I think it’s time for a REAL 9/11 investigation.

video and editing equipment we need right now

Donate to video and editing equipment we need right now

During the eviction of #ows at Liberty Square, I was surrounded by 2,000 militarized NYPD riot cops, 3 LRAD’s, and the most significant surveillance technology I ever seen. I was scared shitless sitting there with 200 protestors, facing the inevitable beat down, abuse and arrest of us all. The police made if clear for 2 hours that anyone who stayed would face the NYPD’s show of force. Even journalists were threatened with losing their media credentials if they stayed and filmed.

I wasn’t scared because of the possibility of being arrested, beaten, or maced. I was scared because my phone was dead and I couldn’t stream live video or tweet to the world what was happening. My SD cards were running low and I didn’t have a good camera lens to capture all the action in the low light. I still did it to the best of my ability, working with what I had only to be physically dragged out of there by 2 NYPD Sergeants who saw me film the whole incident.

I got out safely and immediately went back home to work on the only footage captured inside Liberty Square, footage the world was waiting to see. Unfortunately, my laptop is nearing its end and when I went to edit the footage, I couldn’t see the video, only the audio, and when I went to render/export, it took 10 hours to complete.  The video then took 12 hours to upload because of the slow internet speed at my house. By the time it was finally uploaded, the video everyone was looking for was already out of the 24hr news cycle.

Its not easy to do this with no sponsors, products, or advertisements, but we never cared because we never did this for the money.  We don’t ask for much at We Are Change, we never really do, but if we can get the proper equipment for the job we can give back more to you.

Money raised will go towards the following video and editing equipment we need right now:
