Neocons Fear Donald Trump Could Name Ron Paul As Secretary Of State – OpEd
On Wednesday, the neocon journalist Jennifer Rubin tweeted under the hashtag #thingstoworryabout. She is afraid Ron Paul will be selected as Secretary of State in a Trump administration.
Rubin, described as a “conservative” journalist, works for The Washington Post where she espouses the neocon line on foreign policy. As an advocate for “American exceptionalism,” she supports military intervention and the never-ending war on terror.
So far, Donald Trump has not said he will appoint Ron Paul as Secretary of State.
It’s a great idea, though.
As Secretary of State, Paul would rollback Pax Americana and pursue a policy of noninterventionism. He would follow George Washington’s advice and oppose entangling alliances with other nations and wars of aggression. Paul would bring the troops home from hundreds of US bases in Korea, Japan, Europe and elsewhere around the world. He would shut down foreign aid. He rejects the dangerous confrontation with Iran, the embargo against Cuba, and military actions elsewhere. He advocates ending US participation in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I’VE BEEN ELECTED TO 5 STRAIGHT NATIONAL CONVENTIONS. TODAY, I GOT CHEATED. DONALD TRUMP GOT CHEATED AT ARIZONA CONVENTION. SHAMEFUL!!! MY NAME WAS ‘MYSTERIOUSLY’ REMOVED OFF DONALD TRUMP ONLINE BALLOT. TODAY’S ELECTRONIC VOTE FULL OF GLITCHES AND ERRORS. CHEATED TODAY!’ – @GOVBREWER
AZ, Jan Brewer the most recent current or former executive to endorse Donald Trump cries foul at the Arizona Republican convention, after Texas Sen. Ted Cruz won a large majority of the 58 delegates to the Republican national convention during a state party meeting. Tweeting after that “My name was “mysteriously” removed off @realDonaldTrump online ballot. Today’s electronic vote full of glitches and errors. I was Cheated today!
I've been elected to 5 straight National Conventions. Today, I got cheated. @realDonaldTrump got cheated at AZ Convention. Shameful!!!
Trump campaign chair Jeff DeWit angrily yelled “Trump got cheated” after it became clear that delegates to Saturday’s state party convention had elected Cruz for virtually all the 28 at-large national delegates. The two split the 27 delegates elected by congressional district. When Former Gov. Brewer failed to win a delegate seat at July’s convention she was visibly angry, saying that “she got cheated” calling the Convention. Shameful both publicly at the event, and then later on her Twitter account.
Ted Cruz’s campaign organizer Constantin Querard says that simple math led to the at-large victory. Cruz offered a nearly identical slate of candidates as John Kasich backers and the combined votes led to a win. Implying to Cruz and Kasich supporters, that their previous political partnership was paying off.
Either way the elected delegates will be bound to vote for Trump on the first ballot in July’s national GOP convention regardless of Saturday’s results.

A recent poll from Public Policy Polling reveals that only 30% of Republican Primary voters would bomb the Disney city of Agrabah. Democrats fell even deeper in the poll with only 20% of Democratic Primary voters feeling compelled to shell Agrabah relentlessly from the air, sea, land and underground.
Jeb Bush was quick to establish condemnation in response to the devastating revelations, being “unable to believe this pol” and asserting a dire need for, “new bombey bombs”. (more…)
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D., Texas) declared the U.S. Constitution to be 400 years old Wednesday on the House floor, which would mean it was signed in 1614.
“Maybe I should offer a good thanks to the distinguished members of the majority, the Republicans, my chairman and others, for giving us an opportunity to have a deliberative constitutional discussion that reinforces the sanctity of this nation and how well it is that we have lasted some 400 years, operating under a constitution that clearly defines what is constitutional and what is not,” she said. Members of We Are Change from the San Francisco area were kicked out of a Tea Party event on April 15. The event was held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, California. See the video below.
It appears only supporters of the Republican hijacked Tea Party were welcome at the event.
Orly Taitz, an Orange County attorney who has gone to court to disqualify Obama on constitutional grounds, was invited to speak at the event. She was dis-invited after establishment Republican political candidates got wind of her planned attendance. “It’s not worth it,” Bridget Melson, founder and president of the Pleasanton Tea Party, told the Los Angeles Times. “She’s too controversial. This is not what the tea party is about at this point.”
The event was announced and promoted by the Tea Party Patriots, an organization partnered with FreedomWorks, the “conservative” (neocon) organization headed up by the former establishment Republican Dick Armey and funded by the Sarah Scaife Foundation, a neocon operation directed by the billionaire and CIA operative Richard Mellon Scaife. Other Tea Party Patriots partners include the Republican news portal and blog site RedState and the neocon blogger, concentration camp apologist and Fox News darling Michelle Malkin.
The Pleasanton Tea Party does not list partners or financial backers on its website. However, since they are teamed up with the Tea Party Patriots, FreedomWorks, and the scurrilous neocon Scaife we can assume they share the Republican Borg hive version of Tea Party activism (including swearing fealty to the Republican national platform of total war and the bankster agenda).
If the Republican version of the Tea Party manages to absorb the Libertarian Tea Party movement, we can expect a new crop of neocon Republicans to replace the “socialist” Democrats come November. If the momentum continues into 2012, we can expect another George W. Bush as president and a continuation of the occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq. The bankster agenda and the Federal Reserve will move forward, albeit with the trappings of the Tea Party (confined to the same sort of fake Libertarian lip-service Reagan read from a script while fronting as president for the New World Order).
Is it unfair to characterize the Republican Tea Party as the CIA Tea Party? Considering the involvement of Richard Mellon Scaife, a covert takeover of the movement by the spook agency is a distinct possibility. It certainly would not be the first time a legitimate political movement was taken over by an intelligence agency. In fact, the CIA specializes in creating political movements from the ground-up.
