Now of course this sucker punch was nothing major and I am not crying over it. What is more disturbing to me is the blatant unprofessional thuggish behavior of this NYPD officer.
Not all cops are bad but the bad apples need to be weeded out and exposed for what they really are bully’s.
If the nypd thinks it can get away with trying to intimidate and scare off credentialed press they are surely wrong as demonstrated in this video.

Wow…. Speechless… How in the hell do any of these cops ignore someone asking for help… Just goes to show what comparmentalization does to the human mind.
I work with the police, nearly on a daily basis. Their mentality (if you can call it that) is us (the police) against them (the citizens). They are not required to respond to your calls. They are not required to help you. They are law enforcement.

luke, you screwed up by not calling for him to be placed under citizens arrest. the police could ignore you under the pretense that they did not witness the simple assault. you have to specifically request citizens arrest. keep that in mind.
