In a video uploaded to YouTube on Saturday, a supporter of Hillary Clinton is seen assaulting a Greenpeace activist who was attempting to ask the Democratic front runner a question.

No information is provided in the video description, other than the statement “if Trump fans get air time for a punch, this should receive broadcast time also.”

In the footage, the activist begins to ask Clinton about her contributions from the fossil fuel industry when she is pulled backwards and a supporter of the former Secretary of State uses their forearm across her face to push her back before charging in front of her.

One of the main arguments that supporters of Clinton make is that she is not Donald Trump, yet not only is she further right than he is on many issues — but her supporters are apparently just as poorly behaved.

Last month, Clinton made headlines after she stuck her finger in the face of another Greenpeace activist while demanding that she is “so sick of the Sanders campaign lying” about her.

“I do not have,” Clinton began before stopping herself. “I have money from people who work for fossil fuel companies. I am so sick. I am so sick of the Sanders campaign lying about me. I’m sick of it.”

Greenpeace has not backed down, however, and outlined the former First Lady’s ties to the fossil fuel industry.

“First, there are the direct contributions from people working for fossil fuel companies to Clinton’s campaign committee. According to the most recent filings, the committee has received $309,101 (as of April 11, 2016; source: Center for Responsive Politics for oil and gas and coal) from such donors.

Next are the fossil fuel lobbyists, many of whom have also bundled contributions. These donations also flow to Clinton’s campaign committee. Greenpeace has tracked $1,488,350 in bundled and direct donations from lobbyists currently registered as lobbying for the fossil fuel industry.

Last are contributions from fossil fuel interests to Super PACs supporting Hillary Clinton. Greenpeace has found $3,250,000 in donations from large donors connected to the fossil fuel industry to Priorities Action USA, a Super PAC supporting Secretary Clinton’s campaign.”

Just like with her secretive speeches to big banks that cost more for an hour than her opponent Bernie Sanders makes in a year, many worry that the extremely high donations she receives from these industries will have serious effects on her policies.

Amazing isn’t it, watching people who claim to be liberal and progressive resorting to violence to silence someone asking about issues generally important to those on the left?
