Julian Assange has launched a blistering attack on US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, saying she would pursue ‘endless, stupid war’ if she entered the White House.
In a diatribe calling on Americans not to vote for her in the primary elections, the WikiLeaks founder branded her a ‘war hawk’ whose policy decisions had fuelled the rise of ISIS.
He also accused the former First Lady of getting ‘an unseemly emotional rush out of killing people’ and blamed her for having ‘set back women’s rights in the Middle East by hundreds of years’.

Diatribe: WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange (left) has launched a withering attack on Hillary Clinton (right), saying she would pursue ‘endless, stupid war’ if she was voted in as the next U.S. President
Writing on the WikiLeaks website yesterday ahead of the New Hampshire Democratic primary, he said: ‘A vote today for Hillary Clinton is a vote for endless, stupid war.
‘Hillary lacks judgment and will push the United States into endless wars which spread terrorism. Her poor policy decisions have directly contributed to the rise of ISIS.’
He said he came to his judgement after ‘years of experience’ reading ‘thousands’ of Mrs Clinton’s cables which had been passed to Wikileaks by U.S. soldier Bradley Manning.
He added: ‘Hillary didn’t just vote for Iraq. She made her own Iraq. Libya is Hillary’s Iraq and if she becomes president she will make more.
‘Hillary’s war has increased terrorism, killed tens of thousands of innocent civilians and has set back women’s rights in the Middle East by hundreds of years.’
Assange also attacked her for ‘publicly taking credit for the destruction of Libya’.
In 2011, Mrs Clinton boasted in a TV interview that ‘we came, we saw, he died’ – a reference to the execution of Colonel Gaddafi by Libyan rebels.

Assange wrote: ‘Hillary publicly took credit for the destruction of the Libyan state. Hillary’s problem is not just that she’s a war hawk.
‘She’s a war hawk with bad judgment who gets an unseemly emotional rush out of killing people.’
The Australian fugitive penned his rant while holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy in London where he has sought refuge since June 2012 to avoid extradition to Sweden, where he is wanted for questioning over a rape allegation, which he denies.
Mrs Clinton was trounced in the New Hampshire presidential nominating contest, trailing Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders by 60 per cent to 38 per cent with 92 per cent of precincts reporting.
Mrs Clinton remains ahead in the overall delegate count due to support from superdelegates – the party officials who can support the candidate of their choice at the convention.
Overall, Clinton has amassed at least 392 delegates and Sanders at least 42; the magic number to clinch the nomination is 2,382.
