USDA fast becoming extremist paramilitary group with bid for ballistic body armor, trauma plates

The federal agency responsible for certifying foods as organic is on a paramilitary extremist splurge, bidding on automatic submachine guns (see yesterday’s article for proof) with night sights and 30-round magazines.

Now, Breitbart journalist AWR Hawkins has uncovered yet another solicitation by the USDA for military gear: Solicitation Number USDAOIGVEST-5-7-14 requests, “ballistic vests, compliant with NIJ 0101.06 for Level IIIA Ballistic Resistance of body armor” with “trauma plate/pad (hard or soft), concealable carrier, tactical vest” and other accessories.

This ballistic body armor, when combined with the submachine guns the USDA was already shown to be purchasing, would outfit USDA agents as true paramilitary soldiers on “battlefield USA.”
